AUTOIMMUNE INC. ANNOUNCES MOVE TO NASDAQ SMALLCAP MARKET

Pasadena, California, September 10, 2002 – AutoImmune Inc. (Nasdaq: AIMM) today announced that its request to transfer from the Nasdaq National Market to the Nasdaq SmallCap Market has been approved, effective September 12, 2002. The company’s securities will continue to trade under its current symbol: AIMM.
